Floor Loads Specifications

The weight bearing load limit of the floor in Exhibit Halls A and B is 350 pounds per square foot.

The load for the Banquet Hall, Lobbies, Exhibition Pre-Function, Banquets Hall Pre-Function and Meeting Rooms is 100 pounds per square foot.

THE ABOVE LIMITS MUST BE STRICTLY OBEYED

Special conditions require prior approval of the Executive Director. Please consult your Event Manager for this approval.

EXAMPLE:

A 12,000 lb. machine with a 4′ x 4′ base (4′ x 4′ = 16 sq. ft / 12,000 = 750 lbs. per square foot) exceeds our 350 per square foot limit

A semi-trailer of the same 12,000 lb. weight with a length of 20′ x 8′ equals 160 sq. ft of floor space x 350 PSF totals 56,000 lb. load capability, therefore NOT exceeding the limit. As a safety measure, be sure to check axle load specs of the vehicles.

Lighting for meeting rooms consists of quartz lamps with dimming capabilities.

Theatrical stage lighting equipment is available to users as a rental equipment item.

Water is available in Exhibit Halls at approximately 50 pounds of pressure. Connectors are 3/4" Push-Tite. Exhibitors must provide own adapters and regulators.

Electrical Service

A wide range of equipment can be demonstrated, and a complete range of voltages available. Please refer to the Utilities Connection form in Appendix A for statistics and guidelines as an aid in helping you evaluate and fill your power requirements when exhibiting.

Due to the layout of circuits and the number of receptacles on the same circuit, indiscriminate use of electrical outlets may lead to circuits being overloaded, causing breakers to trip. In order to avoid any inconvenience for the exhibitor because of power loss, all installations must be made by staff only. Please note that power is disconnected promptly at the end of events. If you have special requirements, please consult your Event Manager.

Truss System Specifications

The Exhibit Hall features strategically located trusses which are set into the ceiling and may be used for the suspension of many types of graphics, such as banners, placards, and directional signs. The hall area has the capacity to support various loads from the ceiling structure. Each load must be considered on an individual basis requested in writing.

All hangings are subject to approval of management.

Please contact your Event Manager for information concerning the use of trusses.
