Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series Presents Anthony Doerr

Anthony Doerr is the author of two story collections, a memoir, and two novels. His most recent novel, All The Light We Cannot See won the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the 2015 Andrew Carnegie Medal of Excellence for Fiction. The story focuses sharply on two characters during World War II in France, Marie-Laure LeBlanc, a blind child, and Werner Pfennig, a private in the service of the Thousand-Year Reich. Their paths converge in St. Malo and the narrative weaves between past and present.
