Syracuse Opera Presents: Eugene Onegin

Handsome and callous, Onegin curtly rejects the love of innocent country girl Tatyana, while his best friend Lensky challenges him to a duel. Time passes and Tatyana marries Prince Gremin. Onegin is struck by her poise, dignity, and bearing, realizing all too late that he loves her. He pleads desperately with her to run away with him and Tatyana struggles to control the balance of duty and desire. 

Sung in Russian with English surtitles.

 All attendees are invited to attend a free conductor's pre-talk an hour prior to each performance
